Rock Island Independents - Circa 1910's

The team formed in the early 1900's as a neighborhood team in Rock Island Illinois. The Independents went on to contend for the 1919 professional football championship and in 1920 were invited to join the league that would become the NFL.

This jersey is inspired by the uniform style of the late teens and is similar to what the team wore on their rise to national fame.
