OWN MISPLAYS BEAT DETROIT, BY 14-0 SCORE “Navin Field, DetroitMich., Oct. 23. – (By Special Wire Service to The Argus.) – Completely outplaying the Detroit Tigers in all departments of the game for the greater portion of the contest, Rock Island’s Independents triumphed here Sunday, 14 to 0. The battle was witnessed by an estimated crowd of 2,000 at Navin Field the home of the Detroit American league baseball team.
