SPRING VALLEY FALLS TO INDEPENDENTS Brindley kicked off at 2:40 on a brisk cool day. Neither team could get much going but the Independents were able to put together 2 touchdown scoring drives to win the game. The Rock Island line held Spring Valley in check all day, they were only able to get small gains on line smashes and end runs. |
