ROCK ISLAND'S DEFENSE DOMINATES SOCIALS October 19th – 3PM scheduled start. The Independents marched on with a 26-0 victory over the visiting Peoria Socials. Great defense was the key to the game as the Socials were not able to push the ball across goal for a single score.

The Independents defensive scored a defensive touchdown off a fumble recovery and later intercepted a pass setting up the offense deep in Social territory. Coleman was the star on Defense for the home team, he repeatedly broke through the line and disrupted plays before they had a chance to develop |
